    I'll take Django over all QT's other overhyped pure trash including Pulp Fiction.

    I do agree with the music complaint though. Parts were fitting/good... Rza however... ehhh.

    Also this movie The Beast Within, which I had not seen since its original run back in the day.
    I recall seeing this at the local drive in on a school night - by myself w a handful of doobies..
    The good ole days..

    The latest BluRay version is about as crisp and clear as you'll see for a movie of this ilk..

    Surprised at how well this one held up over the years. Predates (filmed) prior to AWiL and The Howling which were similar..
    The practical gore effects at the end of the film are still shocking and dazzling even today.
    CGI can suck it. No cartoon fx here.

    I cannot stand QT, I used to like Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs, but his mindless garbage he attaches his name to now takes everything out of those films.

    I'd be hard pressed to give a favorite QT movie.
    There are little bits of stuff here and there that are great fun - but it's all 100% derivative.
    2.5 hours of any movie that is purely dialog can push the limits..

    His over the top dialog and situations are what kill me. I understand that is part of his appeal, but it became obnoxious.

    Funny part is - he steals tons of vibe from Sergio Leone, and Clint barely said two words in those movies.. Make each line count...
