    Pacific Rim was good.

Charlie from Always Sunny is in Pacific Rim.

    Giant mechs are cool.

If you think about it, the monsters masters are pretty much the United States. Sending their "drones" to attack and kill a population while they sat safely in their own land.

This movie is deeper than weeners in XO's butt.

That is my review of Pacific Rim.

I loved things about it. Kaiju galore is always nice. It was like an updated Ultraman or Ultra Q in many ways. Thing I didn't like was how close to Independence Day the climax felt. I swear I was watching that film at the end.

I don't think he's specifically talking about G's real name - but the fact that NYC was the setting in the bad 90's movie - and it appears to be again in this film.

With a purposeful grimace and terrible sound he pulls the high tension wires down.
Helpless people on subway trains scream, bugeyed as he looks in on them.
He picks up a bus and he throws it back down as he wades thru the buildings toward the center of town.
History shows again and again how nature points out the folly of man.
