Most likely choice for QB2?

you can always cherry pick guys. how many 6th round guys have crapped the bed though?

 

Im not waiting til the 6th rd if Im JR.

IF the talent is there at 51 Id be perfectly content with a QB. Enough guys have been successful after the 1st to be comfortable taking a shot at another QB.

At worst we have a competent backup QB on the cheap for 4 years.

 

Stidham is a draft possibility

Yea well Dalton has played full seasons at least, the other guy not so much.

 

bottom line, drafting a QB no matter the round is always a crapshoot. We could Cherry pick any number of QBs that were busts or Great and they would basically come from every round, same as other players drafted. To prove my point you could argue that P. manning and Brady were equal and look at where they were drafted, respectfully. You just never know how players will develop or if they will be injured or just lose their freakin mind in the NFL

 

1st rd QB's are 50/50, every round after the numbers only drop.

The odds of getting a franchise guy are super low. But you miss all the shots you dont take. And one thing is clear, as long as Marcus is the guy, we'll need a 2nd guy.
