Bills, Dolphins, the absolute smashing by the ravens? None of these count?

Glad to know our SB is just beating the Pats and that all is well because that happened.

Who’s everyone? I’ve only seen one say no one out there is as good as MM and a handful arguing that just because “insert name” is better than MM doesn’t mean they’re actually good enough to be a starter.

Well everyone is always saying that DGB is better than Corey Davis because of his 4 TD rookie season. That’s crap and everyone should stop saying that.

    He’s beaten those teams no?

Can you name a better QB available? I saw you avoided that question

Not this year since I’m pretty sure that’s what you were referring to.

That question wasn’t posed to me. The reason it wasn’t is I don’t think a valid starter is available, that doesn’t mean Mariota is anything more than a marginal QB and that JRob shouldn’t be looking for a replacement. I’ve also stated on a bunch of threads that I’m good with Mariota riding out his last season here in an effort to draft a new QB in 20’ where the QB draft class should be better.

It's very valid in that he is our best option.

He has elite potential and we're close to having our team together. We always want to look for better players at a position, but that doesn't mean we adjust our plans until those things happen, Mariota could have a great year, demand a big contract, and we overpay when possibly we could've gotten a steal.

Just blows some people's minds that Mariota might actually be a clutch QB who can move the chains and has deadly accuracy. He doesn't take a ton of risks but he consistently makes good throws.

He's arguably a top 10-12 QB right now who has potential to be a top 5 QB in the NFL. His intangibles give him an edge over pure pocket passers potentially.

Show me a QB coming out with his speed and arm and I'll say OK but those guys rarely pan out and none have won like Mariota when healthy.
