That's the way I understood it. That's why I posted about Kelly's offense. The entire Oline will dive forward at the defensive line's legs to clear out quick passing lanes.

 

Defenses gonna fare better than ever this and next year, well d lines anyways while teams adjust.

But how you gonna make chop blocks illegal but tackling at the legs is legal...hmmm...what's next?

 

The horse collar rule isn't going to be that big of a deal, because refs miss that call anyway, now its more clear cut.

The chop block rule will be big, imo. It's going to change the way zone run tesms play. It's also going to allow big dts to hold olinemen longer to allow lbs thru the gap. I only like the rule because it's one for the d, all other rules increase scoring and help the o.
