you know all I have too do is read a guys name and what his high school mascot was and I can tell you if he will be an elite NFL punt coverage gunner.
We'll be taking the BPA on defense. No WR, no TE, and no OL. Defense wins. End of discussion. Depending on Albert's situation, corner and end will be our biggest needs going into the draft. This year's CB class is deep, probably the deepest since '03. Let's not pass on Asomugha to take Woolfolk this year, please. Personally, I'm hoping for Brandon Spikes or Everette Brown. And would like Trevard Lindley or Alphonso Smith if we end up taking a CB. Just say no to Percy Harvin, Heyward-freaking-Bey, and Jeremy Maclin.
My early thoughts are that Alphonso Smith would be my prefered pick. I have thought all season that he would be a great guy to nab in the back end of the 1st round. I just hope he lasts to our pick. Of the receivers, I'd take Maclin if he was available without any hesitation.
we're not going to take a WR, i've just come to accept it. i think there will be a lot of quality linebackers for us to take. we need to start thinking about finding a replacement for bulluck on the weakside.
Yeah, no way we take a WR early. And I read somewhere that Maclin has something pretty major wrong with his hips (arthritis or something like that). I'll try to provide a link. Ramses Barden or Jarrett Dillard would be nice in the middle rounds.
First Round: I agree with Best Player Available defense, excluding safeties. In the outside chance we go offense, WR or OL.
