i am all for MR right now
while other teams are blowing off money the titans are sitting back laughing handing out a couple of dollars to Alge Crumpler and Jevon Kearse
MR knows how to do it

We should have locked up Roos, Stewart and Albert first.

Odom, Bell and B. Johnson IMO in addition to Crumpler would have been solid FA. The Kearse signing was a "must sign" because Odom got away. Good move when in a pickle, but expensive for a situational pass rusher who we "want to play as much as possible". Kearse was oft injured while here and in Philly.

Again- his off-season work isn't finished so MR has some time to kick it up.

I think the issue is that they probably wanted to see how much crazy money was thrown at people who are not as good as them to set the market rate for their each of their contracts.

In other words, it would have been difficult for MR to lock them up already.

As long as all 3 are signed long term by this summer, I will think we did well.

It is clear that none of them are going anywhere since they are some of our core guys. It is just a matter of going through all the normal contract/agent posturing BS to get to a deal.

MR will be signing alot more people now that FA has cooled down a little. This is when he'll start building with solid players but mostly backups. Hackett and Bryant Johnson are still out their though and you never know when a trade might happen.

Hackett/Carter/Johnson is my favorite but any would do.

Eugene Wilson is supposedly close to signing would be a solid pickup.

Scott and Hadnot one or both need to be signed as well.

If those happen the draft will be much easier to go BPA.

someone said they heard it on titans radio...

and someone said we should hav locked up stewart....and he gave him a contract but he can still be signed by a diff team but we would get a first round compensatory draft pick
