Mike Mularkey & Terry Robiskie Appreciation Thread

I hated the hire and how it happened. The first few weeks were bad too. But over the last 6 games, they seem to get better from a coaching and play calling perspective. Still some stupid decisions, but trending in the right direction. Grimm has done a great job with the OL, and JR has killed it in FA, draft and trades.

 

GB is the perfect example of what a bad coaching staff can do to a team. I don't see that from Tennessee. They are playing hard, and things are continuing to click.

 

constant improvement week to week. I dont want to like it, but Mularky is doing a good job. finishing 8-8 or 9-7 is a huge accomplishment. look forward to seeing what we would be able to do with a defense.

Are you not a fan of scoring 35 points a game also? The Titans are 4 and 2 over the last 6 weeks. Enjoy it. They have as many wins in 10 games as they did in two prior seasons.

 

I believe what we are seeing also is the transformation of Mularkey. Yes his record as a HC is BAD, but I think his willingness to adapt is key for him. He has went through a lot of tribulation and is starting to come out of it a lot better coach then when he started. He loves the team and they love him and will play hard for him.

 

i love the Titans, but lets be realistic. We're scoring because of a talented offense not play calling, Imagine if we ran the spread offense even 60% of the time. Just because we run up the score on bad defenses doesn't mean im a firm believer in our coaches yet.
