OK, so Titans filled alot of holes in FA. Since the signing of Shaun Phillips. The Titans no longer have a dying need for a 3-4 LB. Early mock drafts on ESPN, CBS and NFL.com had Titans taking Anthony Barr, which at the time made alot of sense.

If you look now, some of them now show the Titans going after a stud WR and drafting Mike Evans. (WHAT!? Another WR?) that would make 3 top picks last 3 seasons used on WRs. (Very un-Jeff Fisher like).

Here is latest NFL.com Mock Drafts: http://www.nfl.com/draft/2014/mock-drafts
Two of the eight drafts have Titans taking Evans.

But the more and more I think about it. When drafting at 11, if a great QB doesnt fall (like Bortles). We no longer have a NEED at any position where we have to take a specific player. And when thinking of the future. How amazing a WR core would Wright, Hunter, and Evans be for the next 4+ seasons (after we resign Wright). Plus, Nate Washington has only one year left on his current deal.

If he is there, and no one else better should fall to us. I think its a great idea to load the offense with play making studs in the new pass happy NFL. What do you think?

I've been leaning towards Evans since we got Phillips and I read about Evans hands. A 6'5'' who catches everything? Yes please and thank you.

I'd be fine with this. Nate is nearing the end of his great journey and we'd have a good, young group of receivers.

He made Johnny Manziel look good. Would be a good addition.

He is a Vincent Jackson clone!! Totally diferent from Wright or Hunter too. Can you even imagine a D Cord trying to cover all of them?? Add the right QB and BAM!!

I would take Evans over Jackson ANYDAY. I live in Philly and watched Desean walk off plays and get shut down by good corners (New Orleans game in particular) during big games. He is good, but he isn't going into traffic and going up for the rock. We also have 2 solid returners, so his services woudn't be needed there. I am not even mentioning his salary. I don't mind Evans, as long as the top pass rushers are gone or a top 5 doesn't slip or something like that.

Yea then we could name the team the Tennessee Mighty Midgets.

Jackson, Wright, McCluster, Walker, Locker, all smaller than average.

If we're adding receivers let's get a physical big bodied guy who can shield guys off and snatch bombs out of the air.

I agree. We need to sort out our QB dilemma first.
