Think about just how good the secondary would be if Pacman had stayed out of trouble and reached his potential. Well.....maybe we shouldn't think about it because it really ticks me off.

We need to draft a quality CB this year. Even if Harper keeps his starting spot next year we could lose Fuller and the rookie could move to NB for a year. If MR doesn't draft another Woolfolk....gosh, that makes me mad as well....

Anyway, congrats to Griff who I thought deserved it as much or more than Hope anyway.

The cliche' 'Let's cross that bridge when we actually get to it' comes to mind.

To paraphrase Coltkiller, we have to win at least one playoff game in order to get to the SB to begin with. When we get to the SB, THEN we can gameplan on how to win it.

Smash, your view on our SB goal is kinda like a WR who turns and looks downfield before the pass that's coming to him is fully caught and secured in his hands. And Smash, can you tell us what usually happens when a WR tries to look too far ahead on plays like that?

Your analogy actually fits your thinking. The WR you described is just glad someone is throwing the ball at him, just like your glad just to be at the SB.

My WR, to continue this track, focuses on receiving the ball, secure it, get two feet down, turn around and get YACs and head for the TD.

The goal is to win the SB. To get there, you have to win (almost) every game from now an until then. Just because you have a major goal, doesn't mean you lose focus on the path to it.
