But Locker would've only done it for 1 year ... I'm sure the FO would have no problem doing that if Locker never had injury issues and had taken us to the POs for the last 2 or 3 years

 

Too weak a market not to pay him tho.

 

I'm not saying that they will or won't ... just that I think things could get interesting. Whether they pay him or not, there is a chance half the fans will disagree with it.

Well, I have not heard of that rule before but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist ...

Also, would Jake even want to sign a Franchise tag? I mean, he has had a history of injuries whether he stays healthy or not. It might not be in his best interest to play under the tag and get injured before hitting the open market next year. Could there be a potential hold out if the Titans try to tag him?

 

Let's see what he does this year first.
