Mettenberger or Whitehurst as our #2 QB

    I think Mettenberger has shown me enough to be our #2 QB. If Locker goes down, I want Mettenberger to get real experience. The reason it matters who is named the #2 has to do with who is active on gameday. The 3rd string QB can not come in unless the other 2 guys are hurt and then the other QBs can't come back into the game. So if Locker gets dinged for a series or 2 then I want Mett to be able to get playing time. Let Whitehurst be the teacher that he was brought in to be.

    Mett should definitely be our #2. He has looked decent enough and we need to know what we have behind Locker. We already know what Clipboard Jesus is. A career back up.

    In Whitehurst we have a guy that is a never was.

    Mett, in my opinion is a guy that will be.

    As a back up with time to learn, I would be very satisfied with mett on deck.
