I think about 9 out of 10 members on this board already owe Meril Hoge an apology, so we can let this one slide.

Quotes from Hoge this morning on ESPN:

"The Titans have already made the right decision making Chris Johnson the starter, if you get Kerry Collins in there with Chris Johnson, the way that defense has played the last 2 years, they can WIN the Superbowl, not just be in the Superbowl."


"Vince Young holds them back from that. He is doing the same thing he was his rookie year. The people that are booing him now were cheering him. You need to rethink how you were cheering a year ago, because he's not improving."


That second quote seemed like a shot at the fans.

Hoge sucks. What is his personal vendetta against Vince?

 

VY has improved as a passer. For some reason, he doesn't run much anymore, which takes away a large part of his value. The strength of his game is that you have to account for his legs and his arm. He'll get killed for now as a pocket passer, which is what he has been doing.
