McCarthy Injured...AGAIN

Watching the game last night, the look on his face bummed me out.

You can tell he knew his NFL career was over.

 

I remember being pretty excited about him after he showed up big in his first few games. Thought he might be a big-time player. But yeah, his career is over now. Dude wasn't built to play football.

 

It's sad really, he looked promising a few years back but he couldn't even get out of the first preseason game. Too bad.

Was he injury prone in college?

 

I traveled to our game against the Panthers in Charlotte his rookie season... Dude was on fire that game and there was no doubt in my mind he was our MLB of the future.

And he continued making plays and made the game sealing INT against the Bucs (in one of our other worst weather games).

Disappointing to say the least. Watch... He'll revive his career elsewhere and end up a beast. That's our luck.

I'm more upset that this slightly helps Fokous's chances of making this team.

 

Surely there's going to be a workable camp cut somewhere.
