I agree but Tanny is on a one year deal.

Mariota is on his final year and the F.O has to make decision with him.

The Gap is extremely small between the 2.

I agree, the gap is extremely small between the 2. Now it becomes a matter of which one of the 2 can we get on a 2 year deal for the cheapest. I doubt Mariota would entertain that offer, Tannehill might. Either way, neither is the answer, only someone to hold the spot while we search for our real franchise qb.

OTHERS need to watch the games?!?!???
    Really?!?!?
You do know how ridiculous that statement was right?!?!??

Going down this road again? I'll play along for the 623rd time, but just the once:
    - 2 of 3 passes were DROPS
    - Line play caused the safety not the QB
    - Line play so gawd awful the coach took him out so he didn't get killed.

I typed it slowly so I don't know what else we can do for you on this one.

Exactly, why are the receivers ALWAYS dropping Mariota passes but somehow manage to catch Tannehill passes? I will hang up and wait for your answer....

With an injury history longer than Andrew Luck's and entering a contract season is it time for Mariota to retire after this season? I think there is a chance he will look at his injuries, especially the tingles which has life threatening implications and could decide to retire. After all, he doesn't want to be age 40 and not be able to walk. Already is a big time CTE potential patient.

I think we are about to witness Mariota's last season. May God bless him in his future endeavors and wishing him all the best. I hope he decides to play longer, but my instincts are telling me he has gone through way too much, between the injuries and the coaches, and the new teammates, there's only so much a guy can handle.

not retire but if he sucks this year or gets hurt again, moved to backup for practically any team

i wouldn't resign him if either happen
