What is your choice as of now?
What's the trade deal?
Hypothetical, to be considered in reality, not as beneficial as Rams/Redskins trade.
I'm taking Mariota unless a major trade offer opens up. I saw this idea and I would totally get on board with it:
3 1st round picks
2 2nd round picks
If it's not a deal like that we should go Mariota.
I voted trade down, mostly because of our struggles when picking in/around the top 10, especially the top 6 (and when needing a quarterback). If we could get a major trade like the one Playmaker suggested, that would be my choice, but I doubt we get that lucky.
I said take mariota, but I'd like to say mariota or winston. We don't really know what tb is going to do.
My order of priority is as follows:
1. Trade down, but only if we can get two years of high draft picks with another player that can help us now (stopgap QB, other position). Point is, it has to be a good deal.
2. Leonard Williams
3. Marcus Mariota
That said, my guess is that Whis/Webster may pick for their own job security, which would be Mariota. Picking Mariota is basically the same as a two year extension for Whis IMO.
1. Leonard Williams
2. Marcus Mariota
I voted Williams, but I will not be disappointed with a trade back since a lot of our FA pick ups are stop gaps for a couple of years. We still have holes to fill for the long-term.
Change out Darren Sproles for Jordan Matthews and you may be on to something.
If our trade is with the Eagles this is what I'd like to see:
#20, 2015 2nd round pick
2016 1st & 2nd round pick
Getting Fletcher Cox, eases the pain of not getting Leonard Williams and Jordan Matthews gives us the big bodied WR our WR corps is missing. Bradford only has 1 year left on his deal, so this is a prove it year. If he gets hurt again or doesn't play well we have 2 1st round picks in 2016 to move up and target a QB next year.
