Mariota has had 2 good games in a row.

He did a good job today. This is the qb we need. He doesn't have to be great, just good and today he was good.

 

Davis is a stud. Jonnu is starting to make some plays which is huge. Running game is looking better. Marcus is solid, excited for the rest of the season.

 

its almost like it takes time after going through 4 coaching staffs in 4 years and losing walker and matthews, but those are just "excuses" right?

 

Every QB has bad games. Roethlesburger has thrown 5 tds and 5 ints at different times .

 

You can't fly with eagles when you are working with turkeys. We are watching it come together, the blend of coaching and talent that will shape the culture of our team for seasons to come. MM is right in the heart of that mix. He will grow as his team grows.

 

And nerve issues after a late hit ... But excuses.

 

Usually not in week 9-10 though. Maybe week 3-4.

But Mariota played lights-out yesterday. The ability has always been there. Just need the consistency to stay.

 

Ive said it before and ill say it again... Mariota needs WR's he can trust to run the right route and run it well. No way a QB can succeed by himself. Mathews wasn't a great wr but he knew where to be to get the ball and that's why he excelled. Our WR's have stepped up big time and it has shown.
