Looked pretty sharp and should have had a TD catch from Taylor. He was making really good decisions and making pre snap adjustments. That corner blitz he picked up was really nice as he quickly threw the ball to Sharpe for an easy gain. He was accurate. Heck he had over 100 yards passing by the the 2nd quarter for the guys that care about yards.

Don't spend too much time evaluating how he performed AFTER he got hurt. It obviously hindered his accuracy.

That's a bit revisionist. He under-threw Stocker badly on what would have been a TD. Then on 4th and goal he throws behind Davis, had he put the ball in front it's an easy TD, like the Phins showed a little later with an easy throw to Stills.
So while he didn't screw up badly, he certainly was not consistently "sharp".

wouldn't say it was badly under thrown...sort of for sure. Regardless, the TEAM has to punch in that TD

rMaybe I should have written "a horrible underthrow" instead. When the receiver is running free behind the deepest defender it's inexcusable to not put it out in front him.

Yea that was really the worst of it

Everything after is hard to judge based on the hand and elbow injury

Maybe but I couldn't see how close the safety to tell if Mariota was actually trying to avoid him but I respect the fact that you don't care about the completion percentage but actually how the passes were completed and if they were accurate or not.

So you don't care that poor throwing costs the team a TD??? Not once, but twice?? In case you forgot, we turned the ball over on downs on that drive after being inside the 10... at a point where we should have been up 10-0, instead we gave the Dolphins some life

I guess we should just do inside shovel pitches to the RB all day, then Mariota's completion percentage will look amazing!!!

Not leading Corey Davis on that 4th and goal cost us the TD. Had that ball been put where it was supposed to be put, TD for certain. Davis did well to catch that but lost all momentum and killed his yac chance. So Mariota's pre-injury inaccuracy cost us a couple of TD's.

don't disagree but stocker isn't really much of a receiver...at all.

1 of the 2 underthrown balls in the RZ was partly on the CB grabbing jersey early, if Mary leads Taylor any more than he did I dont think Taylor gets his hands on the ball, and if he cuts it off short it's a pick.

The Davis throw was worse, Davis had a clear view of the EZ

Mary has to make that throw 10/10 times if we want to be the team we need to be
