How much more time did you want to give him? He’s had five years and he’s still completely ineffective. And yes, Tanny is WAY better.

Not saying Tanny is the long term answer either, and he has been known to be inconsistent and injury prone too but I have never seen Mariota rifle the ball into tight windows like that, lead his receiver or make confident decisions without hesitation like Tanny did last week.

Plus Tanny has completed full 16 games seasons 3-4 times with 24-27TDs and 4000 yards. Mariota has had zero.

 

If you havent seen mariota make those throws then your either blind as ray charles or just blinded by hate. He has made wayyyy harder throws than Tanny did last game

 

Ok, I give up. You’re right, Mariota is a stud that threads the needle on the regular and once he gets picked up by a team that knows how to utilize him, he will lead them to multiple SBs?

 

First off, the Falcon defense is ranked 27th, and the Chargers is 11th.

Mariota vs 27th ranked D:
18/27, 227 yards 66.6% 3 TDs

Tannehill vs 11th ranked D:
23/29, 312 yards 79.1% 2 TDs 1INT

2nd half was 8 runs/8passes until the 7:10 mark of the 4th qtr. that particular drive had 10 runs to 1 pass and took the game under 2:00. That was the official run out the clock and end the game drive.

Edit: my mistake, I accidentally counted the MM run/fumble as a pass. It was 9/7. Coincidently, MM went 3/7 in the second half.

 

We had 3 75+ yard drives against LA.

We had one the entire year with Mariota.

That's how you win football games. Keep your offense on the field and an opposing HOF QB off the field.

No matter the points scored or the stats produced, the offense was the best it's been the entire year
