How good would you say his accuracy is? We all know his deep ball needs improvements but overall, if you had to rank his accuracy in the top amongst QBs, where would you rank him in that department?!

Mariota is rated 18 in passing accuracy.

Could be higher with all the drops, could be higher if he didnt overthrown a bunch of people. Since every team has drops and overthrowns, he is 18th.

Above average, but I think it will improve with another healthy off season.

I think his accuracy improves if you put him into a system he identifies with and feels more comfortable in. He will less question his throws and be more confident in making the play. Comes back to him being more effective when in rhythm.

Confidence is a big reason on why he has been more off than on. And it’s the system. But the way it looks like Mularkey is here for good and Marcus has to adjust.

But to answer your question, this year lower half.

When he came out of college accuracy was his strong suit. And didn't he have like 46 TDs to 4-5 INTs or something like?

Last year his deep ball and accuracy looked great. I still think that the injury screwed up his mechanics a bit. Add in the fact that he's been forced to play in a scheme and style that doesn't fit him and we have what we've witnessed this year. He seems to be getting it back again.

My son was recruited to play basketball out of HS and was a knock down shooter. The summer before his senior year he had a really bad high ankle sprain playing travel. While he was rehabbing his ankle he compensated for his injury by bringing his arm back to get the power he needed since he couldn't get the spring off of his legs like when he wasn't injured.

He didn't even know he was doing it. By the time he was healed he was cocking his arm almost back to his ear while shooting and his beautiful, consistent 42% three point shot was down to 25%. Once we realized what happened to his form he had to train overtime to "retrain" his normal shooting form back.

He's not Rodgers but he's also not Locker.

His accuracy is just fine IMO
