Manning will work out for Titans in Knoxville

does this not confirm he'll sign with Tennessee?

If he chooses Denver over us now he's a cold hearted son of a b*tch..

The UT Orange Polo and now he wants to workout in Knoxville? If word gets out in Nashville parades will be thrown just for his arrival..

Yeah imo the firestorm this has created in TN (Vols fans) is the best thing we have going for us here. Is Peyton really willing to crush those loyal fans souls? We'll see.

 

I've never been a Peyton homer like alot of UT fans, but if he doesn't sign here.. I can only imagine the backlash against him in Knoxville. I really doubt they'll forgive him if he does all this show and then goes somewhere else.

 

I am not getting caught up in this today. Last few days have been rough.

 

Im watching ESPN and it still says Titans expect to meet with manning sometime this week but no location has been determined

 

Why would they say that if ESPN is reporting that the work out date is Saturday?

 

Is there a possibility that maybe Peyton wants to go to somebody other than the Titans just to avoid all the Vol/coming home fanfare?

 

My question is if Peyton DOESN'T sign with the Titans. Do the Vols fans turn on him? He'll have pretty much ripped their hearts out.

He may feel like he has no choice at this point...He wouldn't want to lose his "legend" status in Tennessee..

I can't help thinking this is deja vu of Lebron's "decision" and we're the Cavs...

The Denver Post reports the Broncos left free agent Peyton Manning's Friday workout for the team with "diminished expectations" they will be able to sign him.it appears the Broncos had high expectations of leaving Durham with Manning's name on a contract. Instead, they left empty handed with the knowledge Manning will throw for the Titans on Saturday. A team source insisted the Broncos are "still in it," however. "We don't know.
