MacBook help

    13" MacBook, not a pro. Just replaced the hard drive. Was reinstalling the OS and it is not recognizing the Hd to save the OS to...

    Any insight?

    I assume you booted off the install disc? Try opening Disk Utility. You should be able to see the new hard drive there and mount it.

    I did see the HDD there but can't figure out how mount it

    When I click on the HD on the disk utility, clicking the mount button isn't an option.

    Now it won't eject the install CD

    You booted originally off the disc, correct? I don't know of any other way unless the HD you installed had a basic system on it.

    Had to reformat it. Got it working
