I'm sure the new HC wouldn't mind keeping him to provide competition but yeah no one in their right mind would hitch their coaching career to the Jake Locker wagon.

I have no real argument with taking a QB next year to bring in competition. Fitz needs to go, I think it is blatently obvious what we are going to get out of him, and it isn't much.

FWIW I think Locker is better than Grossman (when he's not on the sideline that is). But it's not really fair to compare the one good stretch of Locker's career to 3 of Grossman's games against playoff/Super Bowl-caliber competition.

We are the only team without a plan. Thumbs all the way up our asses as always.

Every single team has already made up its mind on whether or not to fire its coach. They've all brought in coaches for interviews, and we are just sitting around confused.

We are becoming the laughing stock of the NFL. Bottom 5 organization, without a doubt. Raiders, Browns, Jags, and Lions are really the only ones I am sure are worse.

    Lions are not worse

Its like I said in the schedule thread, we are the 'easy' schedule.

Like it or not, Jake Locker will , at worst, be the favorite in a QB competition next year in camp. And that is if we get a new coach.

If Munch is back, Locker will be the starter day one, just like this year.

Munchak won't draft another QB, and a new coach wouldn't either before the third round.

    They're not a worse team... they're a worse organization. There's a difference.

We've been a team that everyone overlooks since 2003. One day that will bite everyone in the ass and we'll win it all, but we all may be dead by then.

would be nice if we had a plan of attack going forward but Munch is still here. I was sadly disappointed at work today to not see Munch fired :( Very depressing actually since it would have made me happy that we could move in a positive direction, but we wont.

Well I couldn't really find a good 3 game stretch for Grossman so i figured his playoff stretch would suffice. Who Locker played weren't push overs either. I do see your point.
