This is the play in which Mariota got hurt:



This was like 3 seconds after the snap. Totally clean pocket, wide open receiver to check down to if he was feeling pressure. The was a horrible play by Mariota and the injury was 100% on him.

 

And Frank Wycheck had a near perfect career passer rating, so he should've been the QB.

Just sayin'

 

If Frank could remember the snapcount I’d be down for him as the starting QB.

 

We could play Mary as a blocker and mix it up between Byard, Jennings, and Henry.

 

No Ben Jones literally rocks Mary on this play

When a 300lb Center is hurled into a Mary type man, the Mary loses everytime

 

The officials don't call the unecessary roughness or other unsportsmanlike penalties, the players do. Flags are usually not thrown until someone starts throwing their arms up in the air like children having a tantrum.

 

Mariota has a wide open throw without anyone close to him. He never had to take a hit. The DL who got the sack and Jones were nowhere near him.

 

Do you not see the defender directly in front of him with his arms up in the air? Or the other defender running past Ben Jones?
