Last yr their were 13 teams that had over 20mil in cap money when FA started... this yr the number is down to 8 teams. Last yr their was 575.6mil in FA money available league wide and that is down to 505.7mil this yr and 157mil of that available money is accounted for by the Bears and Falcons. I think this means that if you are patient you should be able to get some decent value FA signings.
I mentioned this the other day. Teams and fan might finally wake up that you just can’t pay everyone what they want. The whole “pay the man” mindset is ignorant.
What’s the limit though? It’s easy to just say “pay the man” but there’s this thing called the salary cap.
