....this guy has been a headache for us every yr....this is his life....domination, trouble, injury, dissapointment....if he isnt doin one of those things...he's not alive.

the only thing im worried about is his return...a hammy injury keeps some1 out a whole month...thats a bit odd...and when he returns which albe will we get...a focused monster of a man...or a simply outstanding lazy DT. people are really worried about when hes coming back...im more worried about how well he will play when he comes back....

really all im saying is that we have been fooled by him many times in the past.....

(this does not mean i dont wanna resign him...this doesnt mean he's not the best DT for the first half of the season...im just simply worried bout this guy...he fell down chasing a qb and basically hasnt been able to play for a month....)

I'm more worried about how he will play after he lands his contract.

Me too, He didn't step it up till this year. I think if it were me I would have stepped it up long ago. Especially after being suspended for being stupid, at least to show the team a little appreciation for putting up with the B.S. But, character has also been an issue..........

    I'm not worried about Albert.

He's stated that the biggest difference to his play this year has been his learning hand fighting skills. The key word is skills.Up to this year he's gotten by on raw talent & physical ability alone.

When he's come up against the elite O linemen in the past he's become frustrated when he's been outplayed. Now he knows a skill that has raised his game & he's enjoying destroying people on every down.

All the best Defensive linemen like White,Doleman,Childress & Hayley made a big deal about how much it raised their game being able to fight someone off before they could get leverage on them.

If you look at tape from his games before this year he is a completely different player in terms of technique. He may well have learned the new skills with his contract year in mind but I think the player we see now is the one that we'll see for the rest of his career.

My only concern for Albert this game is that he won't be able to play as many snaps & that he'll have to play conservatively to see how the hammy is holding up.

Hey guys, I'm just worried when I see "Out" next to his name. Pay the man, get him healthy, because our D is doo-doo without him.

Yep. I'd take the risks too. To me it's less risky to pay him than to hope drafting some other DT will make our D near as good.

It is impressive how much better the Titians D is with Fat Al, would be regretable if he is not reisgned, but then nothing the titans FO does is suprising to me anymore.
