change it to 27 in honor of all the Memphis Grizzlies fans - all of them!

 

Lebron should change his number to his ring size. That's the only way the NBA will ever know it.

 

Someone brought up the point he should have went with 25, to one up Kobe who went with 24 to one up MJ.

 

He doesn't want to wear 23 because he wants to honor MJ but he chooses 6? Bill Russell's number? Yeah that makes sense

This is just to increase jersey sales.

 

Screw that. He just needs to go Gretsky on his arse. Can't top 99 baby!

 

Number 6 is a sexy NBA number. Being the face of the league he can't rock with some bum's #25. Plenty of NBA greats wore #6 so he's just another. The thing with #23 is that it's his idols number. This is more to honor the great Michael Jordan than anything else. Normally I'm in LeBron's corner, but this is stupid at best. If he's really the man, he should grab a number no one wants.

 

Yea this may be true, but how can he not have an ego the size of Texas. There's so much pressure on him its insane. He carries an NBA franchise, all the sponsors, he's a dad, the dude needs that ego to stay straight.

When I hear Pacman like crap going on involving LeBron, then I'll start being more critical of the guy. It's all in good fun. Well its all in good intentions.
