Landscape has changed for Rob Turner

Turner may not start but he is an upgrade over the two guards and the horrible center we started last year. Shows how much better we got upfront in the offseason. The depth is nice too, we fell apart last year with the injuries in the line. Got a feeling we will run the ball much better like when white and cj were in the back field together. I really think greene will help at the goal line and in short yardage.

 

he cant hurt. is incapable of moving a pile, any pile. Its not his fault its the coaches fault for giving the little guy the rock and expecting him too be EG

So in short, in Turner we have a backup interior lineman who is better than most of the starters we have had at center and guard the last 3 years.

The front office had a weak area of the team and went gain busters to turn that weakness into a strength ad they did.

Next year we can address the defensive line more in the draft.

 

In the FOs defense they have thrown a lot of $s and bodies at DL as well.

Clearly not at the same level as interior OL though

 

Probably because DL comes at a MUCH higher price.
