what I still dont get is how JR allows Jeremy McNichols to exist here

that kid is a bum

 

Frankly, if walker AND Smith are down, screw TE as a pass catcher. Put an extra lineman in on run downs. On pass downs, either go four wide and Lewis in the backfield. None of the scrubs out there now are a better receiving threat than Taylor or Lewis anyway.

I think he has a chance as he looks like he would make a good ST player and is well rounded -- good receiver and blocker.

He may even fit into a hybrid RB/FB role
