KVB to Sign with Lions today!

KVB is going to do a lot for leadership on that team. The turff I think will help him out on speed. If they use that draft pick and got a DT, that would be very good for them to IMO. After the Christmas game did speak with him out side and he seemed to know then he would not be back. Told him thanks for every thing he has done and good luck where ever he ends up. Got a hand shake, high 5 and autograph on a cap. Then he goes to his ride and leaves off into the darkness of that cold Christmas night. - True story

Oh well. KVB went flat without Fat Albert. But I bet losing Schwartz didn't help either. He'll probably look decent again. Hopefully we can replace him.

 

And they're about to trade for Corey Williams from Browns.

Not saying it's gonna be a good d-line, but at least they're trying.

 

The deal with Williams is done. Detroit gibes a 5th rounder for Williams and a 7th rounder.

 

Gotta give Schwatzy a lot of credit. He's being really aggressive out there in Motown. Not saying he's making great moves but they are still aggressive moves.

If you ask me they really overpaid for KVB. 4-years and $26 Million? Can't say I saw that coming. I wouldn't have been willing to pay that much to keep him.

 

I actually think its a pretty good move by schwartz. I think 10 of the 26 mil is due in KVB's first year. I'm sure it's incentive laden as well, so you're basically overpaying in an uncapped year, and then it becomes much more reasonable.

It really sucks being a Lions/Titans fan. If I want one guy gone, he seems to just go to the Lions. Creating more suckage.
