Britt pre injury could probably run a 100 yard dash in 10.0-10.1 seconds. I'm basing that on the fastest guys in my high school who went to big ten schools for football and and ran a consistent 10.1 in high school track. Yes i went to high school long enough ago when they were still running 100 yards not 100 meters.

Ira Matthews was a great all purpose back at Wisconsin who had a brief nfl career and ran a 104 yard kick off back in a monday night game. He ran a 10.1 100 yards.

16 seconds is horrible 7 months after surgery. No way he can come back and help us this year. We saw what happened to Givens, we saw how Calico lost a step and a half after an injury. Doesn't look good.

And this extensive knowledge of where Britt should be seven months after surgery is based on what? Are you a physical therapist or a doctor? He just started making cuts not to long ago I think it's safe to assume that his knee isn't 100% and will not be for a while.

He took the hit to the knee, spun and then started falling before he was even touched. I think it is entirely possible that the giant helmet to the knee is what caused the injury.

He was our best receiver ever... but then he took a helmet to the knee!

I still own my elementary record I broke in 3rd grade from 1993 in the 100 yard dash that read 12.8 :)

I'm pretty sure Kenny didn't run it full speed.

Oh RollTide, you really just have no clue half the time.

Kenny's knee is swollen, and stiff because of that. Running a 16 second 100 is not a problem right now. It's actually encouraging.

I bet you $100 Adrian Peterson can't run a 100-yard dash in under 17 seconds right now.

Kenny will slowly get back to his pre-injury speed. He'll wake up one day and go to test the knee and will be back. There will be some soreness with it, but it'll be stable enough to play football. Trust me on this, I know injuries, they're the reason I'm sitting in this office right now and not playing ball.

Carson Palmer went down with a major ACL/MCL blowout in the first week of the playoffs. Everyone saw that hit.
He was the starting QB the following preseason and had pretty good numbers that year.
