ok what would you like to bet that he never does anything in the NFL?
I'd give him a shot based off of his athleticism, but only in the 7th. I feel like ot is a very hard position for a guy like him to transition to tho. I'd like to see him on the dl.
I think more guys will make the conversion because players are getting more athletic everyday. And if these guys are already physically dominant & imposing the same age as a college student, i don't see why more NFL teams wouldn't take chances in the 6 & 7th, being that they never usually sign those picks anyway.
Good grief! Put this dude at tight end.
Ok and what are we calling for the terms to be? When do I get my 1000 handed over? Not trying to tie moolah up long term.
NFL is plenty athletic and has been for decades now. We dont need help from this guy whatever his name is.
to not expect change in a dying sport is simply naive so im actually going to break it down for you. The NFL has been top heavy with its athletes over the past decade, it's just now becoming more athletically dominant. Previously your average TE's, FBs, DEs, OLBs, etc we're just big bodys that could take up space and stuff the LOS. Now the "average" NFL player in a skill position runs sub 4.6 or he's considered slow. Rugby player's might not be as shifty but they have a combination of power & speed that most NFL players don't fully develop until their 3rd or 4th year.
As far as the "we dont need help from this guy" may be true, but that doesn't mean some other team won't give him a shot, all it takes is 1 guy to break that barrier.
This is ridiculously inaccurate as to the trends in the NFL the last 25 years. The game has changed a ton back and forth over the years.
When everyone goes with leaner faster players other teams beef up and attack smaller fast guys with size and power. Then it goes the other way once teams get bigger, they get slower and are weak vs speed so hybrid types take over the land for a period til it makes sense to get big again..
Just wait til this big nobody gets on the field against 11 brothers, his cracker ass is toast!
Drafted by the Eagles in the 7th. Crap!
