SUMMARY: Brandon Jones may miss some games after a groin injury suffered yesterday in the Titans 28-20 win over the Texans. “We’ll have to do some tests," Coach Jeff Fisher said. “He may miss some time, we don’t know as of yet." In other injury news, LenDale White suffered a lacerated and dislocated finger but he should be able to play Sunday against the Chargers. Albert Haynesworth was sore after the game but felt better today. He will be backed down much of the week but should be able to play on Sunday. Travis LaBoy (concussion) and Benji Olson (back) should be able to practice at some point this week. Chris Hope (concussion) will continue to be monitored.

i think at this point we're better off with roydell, gage and moulds on the field when it comes to our three WR sets. jones just hasn't done anything but disappoint this year.

Man he's missed significant time in his career due to injuries. My hopes if him at least being a dependable #2 are pretty much dashed.

Jones is done here I think. With Gage coming on and Roydell playing well, I think we will see Moulds and William round things out. I would still like to see them put Chris Davis in the slot more...he has some giddyup....liked him.

Based on what we've seen this season, who on the active WR roster do we think will be here in '08?

Besides Roydell, Givens and Gage, I don't think there are any guarantees. I think Moulds is a goner for sure. Jones and M. Williams will need to play their way on the roster. Guys like P. Williams, Ealy and Davis should get a look just because they are cheap. The pressure will be on to bring in another WR free agent or draft one early -- especially if Givens is done.

Yes I have to agree, until Jones shows he can catch it consistently, he isnt gonna be out there

As for the White injury, hope he can get over it, he averaged 5 ypc vs Houston

We have had busts at WR in the draft. Same for FA. That doesn't mean you stop trying unless you're satisfied with the mediocrity (which is probably kind) of this core.

Jones may be out, but I think it's way too early to say much about that. He's about as average as the rest, but he can return punts, so that's worth a little. I don't expect us to have as massive a WR core change next year as we did this year.
I bet Davis and Paul Williams are back.
    Roydell isn't a sure thing.
I hope Mike Williams really earns a roster spot if he does, and isn't given a potential or USC pass.
Ealy will have to blow up again in camp and carry it to preseason.
Moulds needs to be replaced imo.
    Can't count on Givens.

Ok, I'll give an early guess anyway  Gage, Roydell, Jones, Davis, Paul W., and either a draft pick, FA, or each.
I think Gage may have earned an extension.

Keep Gage, Roydell, Davis. The rest can go, they could be replaced with undrafted FA's without any drop off.
    B. Jones drops too many easy ones in clutch situations. I would never trust him in a close or big game.
