    This will probably impact our negotiations with Marcus, but I'm sure there will be another big QB contract or two between now and then. Cousins for one.

    I'm interested to see how much guaranteed money they gave him.

    Also interested in how much % of the cap that these new contracts are taking up. With the increases in the cap the way they've gone the past few years, it'll be interesting to see how much the new contracts eat that up or if it's really just in step with the cap increases.

    I'm willing to bet that anyone who takes you up on that bet will lose money.

    The cap has increased ~$10-12M every year for the past few years. That would put it at ~$190M for the 2019 season. A $30/M contract would be close to 16% of the cap total, which is right in line with the going rate for franchise QB's.

    I'm still not sold on Marcus being brought back after his 5th-year option. He probably will, but you guys act like it's a forgone conclusion.
