When has it ever been a good year for Fisher disciples?

 

Actually it was pretty good by JF standards ... Each team was only 1 win away from a perfect 8-8 record.

Actually the ideal season for a JF disciple is 0-0-16 (technically its an undefeated season)

 

That's hilarious.

However, as much as I hate on Fisher he's done a great job with that team, overall.

If he cannot make it to the playoffs in the next couple of years though, he flat out sucks. They are loading up on first round picks from that RG3 trade.

I don't care if Bradford is your QB and you play in the NFC West, you've gotta be able to make the playoffs with all those first round picks and the best DE in the league (who I wanted us to draft instead of Locker, smh).

It's kind of funny that he had a worse year than last season.

 

Some of the comments here are really dumb. The perception in Detroit is that they have a talented team that should be a playoff contender every year. Stafford and Megatron hello?

Why would you expect Munch to win as many games with Fitzy and our Wrs Fitzy wasn't a 1st pick in the draft.

Schwartz benefited early from more than a decade of a losing tradition there in detroit after 2 losing seasons but once he made the playoffs in 2011 it was expected that he would do that every year so of course he was fired after missing 2 straight years.

The situation is different. Anybody who thinks that Schwartz has done a good job there has their head up their butts.

 

I would rather have Munch.

 

Schwartz winning percentage is 36.5% and he had 5 years to work his magic on that team.

Munch has won 45.8% of his games in a 3 year span. Schwartz has the best WR in the game and a QB that a lot of people(They are wrong) think is top 10.

Statistically the Lions are a very advanced modern team according to many posters here. They have a qB who throws for 5000 yards and average 6-7 wins a year. You guys want that right? That's modern and sophisticated right?

You have 3 coaches fired who in 4-5 seasons of work had one winning season. When Frazier, Schwartz and Shanahan had their one winning season they were hailed a genius coaches. Now they are out of a job.

 

Dude don't even bother. All people here do is look at records. Putting things into context is called "making excuses" 'round these parts.
