Jim Bob Cooter?

    What do we think of this guy?

    Both as a possible head coach, or as a possible OC if we go with a Vrabel or the guy from Carolina?

    He’s a local boy (not that that matters) and seemed to do a good job with Stafford.

    Thoughts?

    Hilarious name. Sounds completely made up. If SNL was doing a hillbilly sketch, they would use this name. However, he is well regarded so you might see him bubble up.

    I am in no way qualified to select a coach, but I like the fact that he’s young, and offensive minded. I like the fact that he’s local (if anything it might make him more likely to stay if he has success here).

    I definitely hope we interview him.

    I didn't even realize he was so young. It's sad when you Google his name the first image of him is a mugshot lol.

    I must admit that the Lions offense was fun to watch last year. They do a ton of misdirections and are not predictable at all.

    But that alone won't get him a job here. Plus, I've never seen anything that suggests he's on our radar.
