Jets @ Chargers

Just show you with a good running game and defense you can win a lot of games you don't have to Brady or the top tier Qb. If you have a stout running game and good defense.

 

blitz blitz blitz???? there's no way the titans could have blitzed like the jets this yr. we had one of the worst secondarys in the league(don't argue the #'s speak for themselves) the jets have one of the best secondarys in the league so they can blitz all day long. maybe if we get a secondary next yr maybe we can blitz a little more. oh yeah we need a defensive line as well!! maybe if we get a defensive line and a secondary may be we can blitz a little more next season.

 

I agree the secondary regressed as a whole (though the stats are skewed by the weeks we were starting rooks at CB), but any way to get more pressure on the QB, including well timed blitzing will help the secondary.

 

the #'s are skewed because of the rookie CB'S but one can also argue that we got terrible play from most of our veteren secondary players as well. blitzing can help secondary play but its alot bigger of a gamble when you have a week secondary . when you have linebackers that are very good at helping in pass coverage i think its a better call to help the secondary and hope your front 4 can get some pressure which didnt happen very often this yr(especially in the middle)

Cant believe the Jets won, theyre really not that good, Indy to the SB!

 

^Ya, it seems fairly obvious Manning is going to have revenge on the Jets and get a pretty easy ticket to the superbowl.

I'd say the Ravens are a better running team than the Jets and the colts managed to hold them down pretty well - I expect nothing less in this game.

 

Looks like the Colts have 2 bye weeks before the superbowl. Sucks.

The only good things I can see in this game for the Jets is this:

1. Peyton Manning sucks in the postseason.
2. Peyton Manning sucks when anyone comes within 3 feet of hitting him.
3. The Jets are playing the Colts in the postseason.
4. The Jets' defense is their best weapon.

So it's possible... I'd love to see Drew Brees put on a QB clinic showing Peyton up though. That'd be glorious.
