Jason Jones #9 flex guy....

    So you don't understand the point either. Who is advocating a starting tandem of those 2 guys? We have 2 300 lb plus guys and could draft another.

    JJ started at DT for 2 seasons for us. in 2009 and 2010 and now he is not even worth backup money?

    Let's remember that in the 2 seasons that Jones was basically a starter inside for us at DT, in 09 and 10 he did not have a big physical guy to go along with him. AH was gone and the guy with the most snaps at the other DT was Jovan Haye another undersized guy who did nothing for us.

    So basically in those 2 seasons JJ was the one getting the double teams. JJ was the one teams paid more attention to. If he had a quality 300+ lb guy to take off the pressure maybe he could have been more productive.

    Atkins for the Bengals would not be as productive as he is without Peko playing a NT type role inside. With Casey and even Martin we have 2 bigger guys and we will likely draft another.

    At the very least shouldn't Klug have competition for that pass rushing specialist role? Or was his performance so awesome he should get a free pass?
