    He wasn't eligible for the practice squad last year and wasn't picked up by anyone else after the Titans released him. Last I heard, he was promoting the book with his mother and sister.

    I'd guess he's probably working in the family business in Chicago.

    Although, I think it does need to be added that we picked Payton up as an undrafted rookie, so we didn't really lose anything by experimenting with him.
     
  9. He was very promising in Europe, it woulda been nice to see him play a bit more, but, hey, he's not needed that much at all...
