how bout this....give up our 2 this year and 2nd next year for someones mid round first or if the cba is settled give vince and a 2nd or 3rd for someones mid first round....take julio jones with the number 8 and then draft locker lol HUGE upgrade to our offense

If Locker is there when we pick in the 2nd I say we pull the trigger. Our D is just in too bad of shape to take him that high. The only QB I could justify taking at #8 is Mallett and I still think that's a stretch.

If the Titans are targeting Locker, and he is available at 8 the best course of action would be to attempt to trade down, but no lower than the 14th pick. I figure that Miami may take him at 15 so we'd still be able to grab him at 14 in theory. We could use the additional picks we got from trading down and package possible picks next year to move back into the 1st and grab a Prince, Paea, Cameron Jordan, any stud on defense.

Personally the only QB that I'd like to see us draft his year is Locker, if it's at 8 then so be it. Would I prefer we don't take him at 8 and try to do some maneuvering, absolutely?

Id say my top picks are in this order 1. Fairely beast a@# motha____ reminds me of haynesworth i swear the way he picks ppl up and slams them.
    2. Peterson 3. Julio Jones 4. Locker
    and heres my reason
if we stay, or stay around the 8th pick thatd be my top. im not sold on Ryan Mallet and his punk attitude im a hogs fan, got fam in arkansas but you can never tell. And ive said it before weigh ur options the draft in the 2-5 rounds are loaded with good lb's good olinemen, but the second half isnt so loaded in recievers or QBs maybe a few diamonds in the rough but no Julio Jones thats for sure so with that said we can always use more firepower, a first round reciever or Qb may be the best choice, or even trade back pick up some picks still pick an offensive weapon or just best available and then load up our defense and linemen with 4 or 5 possible picks between rounds 2-4 with a trade and compensatory picks

From what I've seen of Locker I have little confidence he can play in the NFL. SImply not accurate enough.

if we dont get cam, cause we all know Titans pick dumb sometimes. Then this guy would be good. then bring in Albert, and Mcnabb to teach him a thing or two. And get some free agent defensive players and BAM set for a while.

Well see how it plays out, everyone is a little unpolished but from what i saw he had pretty good accuracy, maybe not the zip that Mallett has, but Mallet cant throw on the run like this kid Locker. His talents play right into our offense thats what i think draws me to like him and talk of him going first last year. Maybe a little pre judgmental
  8. Finnebosch

    Finnebosch I am vengeance.

Fact: If we grab a QB we will still have to watch opposing teams rip our defense a new one while a rookie QB takes time to adjust to the NFL. THEN when Fisher is fired due to opposing teams ripping us a new one and our rookie making rookie mistakes whoever we bring in will be stuck with said rookie QB and unable to bring in 'his guy'.

he's already a top 2 pick (according to kyper) ... *in dream killer mode*
    DO NOT WANT, very inaccurate
    really another receiver ?
will be long gone before we get to the podium

Fry Welcome to the land of tomorrow!

Locker is playing in the Senior Bowl. I'm looking forward to seeing him play with some guys who actually have a chance to play in the NFL.
