The fact the Titans lined up in a 2 Tight end set and it’s a situation where a defense would think Titans are likely trying to run it out.

 

They’re trying to kill clock at this point, not necessarily score a TD.

It was a three score game with under three minutes to go. With the way the Jags defensive line is playing against the porous Titans offensive line, it’s best to play it safe

Oh, then it’s just a simple misunderstanding of the situation on your part.

When a team is up 3 scores with 4 min left and the ball inside the opponent 20, you try to eat clock, not score as quickly as possible.
