I think you are right. And if we coygive him that kind of money, we can definitely get some pass rushing help via free agency.

 

I think division rival had absolutely nothing to do with it and typically gets blown way out of proportion as a thing when I don’t think it’s a thing in 99% of all transactions. Trades, FA, whatever, teams really don’t care if it’s a division rival or not.

 

I like to see we made a competitive offer, but I am glad we didnt get him. I am concerned he wont live up to his money at this point.

 

And at halftime of opening day here in Arizona, JJ Watt and Chandler Jones have both gone down with injuries. Looks like it’s the season for the pair of them.
