It's crazy how this forum's solution to every problem is let him walk/cut him and draft a replacement who will be cheaper and just as good like it's something that happens all the time and is easy to do. Right now Vern and McCourty for that matter are both much more valuable than EVERY corner in this upcoming draft including the 1st rounders because they have actually proven that they can not only play but excel at this level. Yes, sometimes fortune favors the bold but in a game where a guy dominates college and then busts in the pros you always take the known commodity. People need to stop with this mentality that we can just replace every player with a cheaper, better replacement. If it was that easy wouldn't everyone just do that? You let Vern walk if the price is astronomically high and will hurt the team. There are acceptable levels of expensive.
