That’s one of the things that really angers me about the wasted years with mularkey. We were very lucky injury wise the last couple of years. Hope that continues.

How there isn't a better option than a pattelar tendon,Hamstring, or cadaver graft for an acl tear still boggles my mind. I've tore my left one twice, along with my LCL, meniscus, and posterolateral corner. Surgery sucks and the graft options suck imo. Pattelar Tendon is actually stronger than the original ACL, but its hard as heck to get over and it will be years for you can just kneel on the ground again. I actually tore my pattelar tendon graft (first graft) just from knee misalignment from the posterolateral corner, which is a very rare injury and even rarer to find a surgeon who knows what they are doing on fixing it. Elite orthopedics (Dr. Elrod's clinic) is the best. Dr. Martin to be exact!

The only thing that should matter is that he improves his throwing mechanics. Anytime you step on the field you take a chance of getting hurt and EVERY NFL Player knows the risk involved. His best bet is to throw the ball away or get out of bounds.

I have been a fan of this franchise for 30 years and there is a long history of disappointment...that doesn’t disappear with a couple of good offseasons. Agree the future looks bright but I completely get guarding your heart when you have the history this franchise has...going all the way back to 70s.

The past couple years I've been cautiously optimistic, pretty much since JR was brought in. And overall, performance matched what I expected, last year even exceeded expectation which is ironic because players declined.

This year though, I really get the feeling this team can turn it on and become a regular contender. There are just too many quality pieces, and finally it seems the coaching staff is in place to get the most out of the roster. That IMO has been the biggest missing link the past few years.

The offense was good 2 years ago. Last year was a step back because teams just stacked the box and we just kept running hoping "one would pop". Now there's an OC who's had success everywhere he's been, and will design an offense for the players we have. Then the secondary has been overhauled and should be a top 10 unit, while the front 7 should be pretty solid and got some youth. Pair that with an offense that can extend drives and stay on the field and this team really *should* be legit. Might take 2-3 weeks to really get things smoothed out, but I think 11 wins should be realistic.
