In the last 6 weeks of the season, the #Titans are ranked 3rd in total defense, 4th in scoring, 1st in sacks, and 2nd in interceptions

‘Go forth and blitzeth the QB

Layeth him upon his sissified arse

For elsewise BSP will get a new phone directory’

Adams spoke thus Jerry Gray was saved – Amen!

    tho your FS do sucketh

    and thy FAs are decrepit

and thine punter has lost his way

Fear not for Goodell allows more than 4 beyond the LoS

    Can I get an Amen!

And Gray was cast out of the garden of losers

leaving his 3 man rush schemes, DEs dropping into coverage

40 yard deep safeties and prevent D behind

Morgan will rizeth from the inactive list
for thou art not too keep a brother down
Klug will pushen, Martin will pressureize, Casey will pursueth
thus freeing Wimbley too phly gracefully unto thy pocket of phalse protection
and Marks will play like he begat from the SEC! Amen!

Freed from linemen pushing them into DBs thy Linebackers did respondicate
Ayers and Brown and the ghost of Colin McCarthy did punish QBs with mighty blitzes!

    Making plays! Winning games!

    Can I get an Amen!

    And thus Bud was appeased

    and Munchak was extended

and Moore will supplant Logains as OC

and Gray will thwart the poachers of Texas Tech

and the mighty Titan D will again dominate the NFL

and all will fear the sunday noon kickoffs they will endure

when the Tennessee Titans are found upon their schedules - Amen!

I've mentioned this in the game threads the past few weeks. Our defense is massively improved from the games up until Chicago. It's almost like watching a different squad out there.

It is nice to see Gray getting aggressive instead of just sitting back in a perpetual prevent defense watching the other team run up and down the field, my question is why did it take him until 3/4 of the season to figure this out and will it take him 3/4 of the season to figure it out next year too? I hope not.

I can't even blame Chicago entirely on him considering the offense and field position they had.

I am hoping it was 3/4 of the season getting used to his guys. I am glad he has changed both philosophy and personnel when needed.

But I hope it isn't a case of 'what do I have to lose' this year and then back to vanilla next year.

You shouldn't blame the D for Chicago AT ALL. Chicago had more points than yards up to around the 2 minute warning before the half.

The defense was good in that game.

We just need to replace Babineaux.
Pray to the Football gods Griffin plays every game like he did on MNF.
Get McCarthy healthy, or replace him.
    Get DE depth.

This isn't THAT impressive, look at who've we played:

    Jets, Indy, Hou, Jax, Miami

Week before that we allowed 51 points.
