    The NFL no longer allows this. Somehow, Hester is grandfathered to the rule. He did start his career as a CB/kick returner, so I don't think he was actually trying to find a loophole.
    0 and 00 are no longer allowed in the NFL.

    I've been thinking the same thing. I wonder how much they will push for that, though. Not worth getting into a fight with your new quarterback over something like that. I think if Locker really wants 10, he'll get it.

    Wr can wear 10 too, ex. DeSean Jackson & not doubting you but I don't think I've ever seen a lb with a 70s number.

    Why would Locker wearing 10 hurt jersey sales? Do you think people are really going to sew new letters onto a VY jersey? lol, people will just buy new jerseys.
