Are y'all serious about Sweed? Watch his video and tell me if what we need is another big receiver who gets around 3 yards after the catch...

i have a strange feeling we dont be going WR in the first. For some reason i see us doing that in the 2nd or 3rd. I just have that feeling

i started this thread by sayin hardy...only b/c once u throw out the risk he would be the unanimously ranked number one...he can do it all...an like i said i cant deny a 36TD prospect.....but note that i said if we go WR in the 1st..

but honestly last yr we needed WRs just as much if not more so...an we went w/ safety a position we didnt feel we needed so much w/ lowry progressing...but it truned out the only pick that really actualy produced starting numbers...throw in the fact we hvnt drafted a WR in the first...makes me almost sure we wont go WR in the 1st

    JUST LOOK
desean j. 6'0" 166 lbs (ESPN Player Profile not sure if its been updated)*
    wes w. 5'8" 185 lbs
    devin h. 5'11" 189 lbs

if u think that his size drops his stalk then u must be on medication
he could also probly bulk up a bit if u really wanted him too...
i dont think his size really matters

ALSO fills 2 birds with one stone
(WR spot) and (KR if Carr fails to show a good return game)
now if/when we lose pacman we should only need one pick to replace him

If we go WR round 1 I would say D-Jax or Devin Thomas either one I would be happy with but I doubt we go WR round 1.

Jackson is wide open against junk PAC/WAC teams. I didn't see any catches in traffic. He is a midget and will get his azz served to him when he gets jammed at the line. Sweed made some hellacious catches in traffic against quality opponents like Ohio St. Mich St. Colorado etc.

Interestingly, however, I just saw a clip on Hardy on NFL Network. This guy is a "Wes Welker"- like stud. He catches everything around him and has great speed, size and instinct. I could see us passing on WR in the first round and going DT, DE or RB instead and picking up Hardy in the second.

Jackson doesn't need to catch in traffic with his rediculous seperation something Sweed doesn't know about. Sweed makes catches in traffic because he has to if he doesn't seperate very well. Ok so he is 6'4 220 he should catch well in traffic but NFL corners will wear him.

Hardy like Wes Welker.....is that a joke or something maybe sarcasm I'm not catching onto? Hardy is 6'6 220 and is a big physical WR. Wes Welker is a little guy at 5'10 about 190 and uses his quickness to his adv. There are completely opposite if you ask me. He will be long gone by our 2nd round pick.

The difference is, Sweed HAS to make catches in traffic because he cant get separation. And don't knock PAC/WAC teams when Sweed was playing against Big 12 weaklings and still couldnt get more than an inch separation.

Unless Jackson puts on 20 pounds I wouldn't draft him in the first. If you're drafting a WR in the first he better be a #1 type WR and I don't want a 166 pound #1 WR.
