If The Titans miss it by one did CJ's holdout cost them a playoff spot?

The team betrayed CJ. Simple as that. They said they'd give him a contract, they didn't do it until he forced their hand. I don't know why some of you have a personal grudge against the guy. He's not your buddy. He's playing football to make a living, and he'd be a fool not to demand his contract when he's making a fraction of his market value. Smart teams don't force their underpayed players to hold out. They trade them or pay them. This is ALL on the Titans. They could have had this resolved WAY before TC. Everyone knew he was going to hold out if they didn't give him a contract, and that's what happened.

 

he signed as a rookie, whined and got some unsecured backend pay transferred to guranteed, whined and held out. Titans caved. I would have let the little dude rot and pizz his career away, but that is why I aint the GM
