I'm quite shocked you think any other RB on our team could do better. You think Reynaud wouldn't need a fb in and could perform better than CJ in that situation?

Trades or cuts would have to ocur in the offseason.
Better question: Think CJ can run without a lead blocker with a better line? I dont. His vision has gotten so bad.

I think they need to bring in a bruising, physical back to pound the ball and wear defenses down and make CJ split the carries with this back.It might do wonders for the run game. After our physical back wears defenses down then CJ can use his speed and slice through for opposing defenses.

I do think its time to start looking for a good young physical back with fresh legs to carry the load.C.J. has been great at times but he is definitely getting older not to mention he is not the biggest back either so his age and size are definitely factors.

I do think trying to make C.J. the focal point of our offense next season in 2013 would be a huge mistake.I do think he can still play but his best days are behind him not to mention running backs wear down as they get older.

Watching him constantly dance backward to gain more yardage but ends up losing seven yards that kind of play kills and stalls drives on offense and puts us in bad situations.

We definitely could keep him one more season but clearly a move must be made in the draft or free agency to bring in a younger, physical back.

    Relevant???? ROFLMAO!!!!!!!!!
He only shows up half the freakin time. You never know which guy you're gonna get. He sometimes shows up and runs like he is paid to do, but most of the time he shows up with backward-fumbleitus. cj1yd has the physical gift but lacks the ability to use it anymore. Good funny man, I needed that.

you guys are funny my mother died when i was 6!

Anyways you say he cant catch a screen? well we ran zero screens to him yesterday. In fact we ran two to our TE out of a wr position which is retarded!

Running screens to CJ just doesn't work because teams are still spying CJ with a LBer every play. Screens only work if the guy getting the ball gets forgotten about by the defense.

I have no problem trying to get the ball in Cooks hands quickly and trying to let him use his size to over power a CB.

We need to keep CJ, draft a young power RB and upgrade the OL. We don't need to take steps backwards by trading or cutting him. We have plenty of cap room to pay him.

So when CJ doesn't produce good numbers, it's all his fault huh? lol

I did not say that, but uh, he is the one that called himself an "elite" player. Elite players make shlt happen when nothing is there, correct? I would think at minimum an elite player is someone to be counted on game in and game out, would you? I mean, what the hell does that term stand for if not, at minimum, consistency?

Remember now, he is not just calling himself elite... He held out for elite pay because he said we was. He got his elite pay, where the hell is the Elite-ness??? Lets at least be honest with ourselves.

Chris Johnson needs everything right to happen in order to be effective on the field.

I don't hate anyone who wants him gone. He's currently the face of a franchise is agony.

Replace him with 3 capable runners like nearly every other NFL organization is doing. Paying someone $10M for that style of play is counterproductive.

After Munchak and Gray are dismissed, he should follow them out the door.
