I look for Titans to go 8-0 before a loss.

The good news is that while we've won, there have still been plenty of things to criticize in each game. The defense has been outstanding in the redzone, but it's given up chunks of yards that it didn't need to. The offense has been coming through when it mattered, but it still seems to be trying to find a rhythm. CJ and Lendale are getting the job done but neither has really had the type of game they are capable of.

We're in a great position - plenty of room to improve, but they are playing with a lot of confidence. 5-0, and even if we hit a rough stretch we could be sitting at 8-2 after the next 5 games and tied for the division lead. I think the next 2 games will tell us a lot... coming off a bye playing a should-win game, followed by a huge rivalry in a game with division-title implications on Mon night. That's the type of stretch you really need the vets and coaches to keep everyone focused.

 

Let's concentrate on going 6-0 first, then we can start thinking of 7-0.

 

Got to win the bye week before we start worrying about 8-0 or 6-0.

Fortunately, we don't have a lot of knuckleheads left on the team, so we should kick the bye-week's ***...

One week at a time. We can still go 5-11...

Worst is 7-9.

 

Keeping in mind that it was two years ago when we started out 0-5 (as opposed to 5-0) I would suggest that we not get to carried away at this point. Because after all, it was during that season that we had to be rescued by a rookie QB that led us to an 8-8 record while he was on his way to NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year honors.

So, while our start has been great, lets keep in mind that we've only played five games. And, we've still got two games left with our chief competition in the division.
